Pokémon Go Unleashes Gigantamax Battles in Wild Area!

Pokémon GO's latest sensation: Gigantamax Pokémon and Max Battles! Prepare for epic encounters with colossal Gigantamax Pokémon, requiring teamwork of 10-40 Trainers to conquer. The GO Wild Area event is also launching soon.

Get Ready for Gigantamax Mayhem in Pokémon GO!

The GO Wild Area event introduces Toxtricity, the Punk Pokémon! Catch both its standard and Dynamax forms by teaming up for Max Battles. A Special Research reward might even net you one!

Gigantamax Pokémon dramatically increase in size and alter their appearance. You'll need to assemble a squad of up to 40 Trainers to defeat them – strategy and coordination are key, along with plenty of Max Particles.

Max Particles power up your Pokémon's Max Moves, including the unique G-Max Move for each Gigantamax species. The Pokémon GO Wild Area: Global event runs November 23rd and 24th. Check out the trailer below!

You're already familiar with Dynamax Pokémon in Pokémon GO – those towering red-glowing giants surrounded by swirling clouds. Reaching Trainer level 13 unlocks the "To the Max!" Special Research, guiding you to these behemoths.

Power Spots, the locations of Max Battles, appear dynamically. Exploration is key to finding them!
