Excitement is building in the world of Pokémon Unite esports as S8UL secures their spot to represent India at the upcoming World Championship Series (WCS). After a tough showing in the Asia Champions League, where the team failed to advance, S8UL has made a strong comeback through the local qualifiers and will now head to the United States this August for the WCS Finals.

The road to qualification wasn't without its challenges. S8UL started off rocky, losing their first match and being pushed into the lower bracket. However, they fought back with determination, dominating teams like Team Dynamis, QML, and Revenant XSpark to ultimately secure their place on the global stage.

This isn’t S8UL’s first brush with international competition — the team was also selected to represent India in the 2024 WCS. Unfortunately, visa issues prevented them from participating in the event held in Honolulu. With international travel still presenting logistical hurdles, especially to the U.S., there's cautious optimism that nothing will stand in their way this time around.

As the team prepares for the WCS 2025 finals, fans and players alike are getting more involved in the game.
