Pokémon Go Launches $100 Ticket for Premium Toilet Access

Author:Kristen Update:May 22,2025

Pokémon Go has introduced a new $100 Premier Access ticket upgrade for its upcoming Go Fest: Jersey City event, which promises a wealth of in-game items and enhanced real-world facilities, including "upgraded restrooms." Go Fest, the game's premier annual summer event, will be held at Liberty State Park in Jersey City, as well as in Paris, France, and Osaka, Japan. For attendees at the Jersey City location, Niantic has unveiled this additional $100 Premier Access upgrade, offering a suite of exclusive benefits.

PlayThink of it as a Business Class experience for the event. Those opting for the Premier Access will have access to a special lounge equipped with "upgraded restrooms, portable charger kiosks with lockers, and seating to recharge yourself for your next adventure." While the specifics of these upgraded restrooms remain a mystery, they are promised to be a cut above the standard facilities.

You'll also enjoy fast-track entry to the Pokémon Center Pop-Up Store, allowing you to bypass the often lengthy queues and spend more time playing rather than waiting to purchase merchandise. This is a significant advantage, as the merch store is notoriously busy, and waiting in line can eat into your precious playtime.

The real draw of the Premier Access upgrade, however, is the extensive list of in-game items it offers. This package includes 100 Premium Battle Passes, 100 Super Incubators, 20 Max Particle Packs, and more, providing players with items that could otherwise cost upwards of $300 if purchased separately. Here's the complete list of what you receive:

  • 100 Poké Balls
  • 100 Great Balls
  • 100 Ultra Balls
  • 50 Silver Pinap Berries
  • 100 Super Incubators
  • 10 Lucky Eggs
  • 10 Incense
  • 10 Star Pieces
  • 10 Lure Modules
  • 10 Glacial Lure Modules
  • 10 Magnetic Lure Modules
  • 10 Mossy Lure Modules
  • 10 Rainy Lure Modules
  • 100 Premium Battle Passes
  • 20 Max Particle Packs
  • 5 Max Mushrooms

Additionally, Premier Access ticket holders will receive an exclusive enamel pin badge.

The response to this ticket upgrade has been varied. Some players feel that the $100 price tag is exorbitant, especially given the increasing number of pay options in the game. Others appreciate the value offered by the in-game items and see it as a worthwhile investment for those who have already committed to attending Go Fest and have the disposable income for such an upgrade.

IGN has reached out to Niantic to inquire if this Premier Access offer will be available at other locations.

Pokémon Go Fest 2025 will take place over the weekend of May 29 in Osaka, the weekend of June 6 in Jersey City, and the weekend of June 13 in Paris. This year's event will spotlight the release of the Legendary creature Volcanion and the wider release of the Mexican regional exclusive, Hawlucha.
