PlayStation Plus Subs Get January's Free Games

January 2025's PlayStation Plus Free Games Lineup: A Trio of Titles

PlayStation Plus subscribers can now claim three free games: Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit Remastered, and The Stanley Parable: Ultra Deluxe. These titles are available until February 3rd, 2025.

This month's selection includes the controversial Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, a PS5 title boasting a hefty 79.43 GB file size. While its post-launch reception was mixed, PlayStation Plus members can now experience it at no extra cost.

The lineup also features Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit Remastered. Noteworthy for its absence of a native PS5 version, this PS4 title (31.55 GB) remains playable via backwards compatibility. While it lacks PS5 enhancements, it offers a smooth gameplay experience.

Rounding out the trio is The Stanley Parable: Ultra Deluxe, available natively for both PS4 (5.10 GB) and PS5 (5.77 GB). This expanded edition of the original 2013 title includes added content and improved accessibility features.

To download all three games, PS5 users should ensure they have at least 117 GB of free storage. Sony is expected to announce February's PlayStation Plus games towards the end of January. Throughout the year, the service will continue to expand its Extra and Premium game libraries.
