Experienced Stardew Valley farmers know the Greenhouse is a game-changer, vital for restoring your family farm to its former glory. But just how many plants can this invaluable structure hold?

What Is the Stardew Valley Greenhouse?

Located on your farm and unlocked by completing Community Center bundles (or the Joja Community Development Form), the Greenhouse bypasses seasonal crop limitations. After completing the six pantry bundles, it's magically restored overnight, ready for use.

Grow any plant, any season! This includes fruit trees, ensuring year-round access to profitable crops, especially those with multiple harvests. These persistent money-makers are a constant source of income unless you remove them.

The Greenhouse features outer space for trees, chests, and equipment like Seed Makers. Inside, 10 rows and 12 columns of tillable land await. However, the plant capacity depends on your sprinkler strategy.

Without sprinklers, the interior holds up to 120 crops, plus 18 fruit trees around the perimeter (remember, fruit trees need two tiles of space between them).

Sprinklers are significant time-savers, freeing you to focus on other tasks. The number of plants supported varies by sprinkler type and placement (including the wooden border):

  • Sixteen Quality Sprinklers cover all crops, using twelve inner tiles.
  • Six Iridium Sprinklers cover all crops, using four inner tiles.
  • Four Iridium Sprinklers (with Pressure Nozzles) cover all crops, using two inner tiles.
  • Five Iridium Sprinklers (with Pressure Nozzles) cover all crops, using one inner tile.

Smart planning maximizes the Greenhouse's potential, creating a highly profitable addition to your farm. Year-round production of up to 120 crops significantly boosts productivity.

And there you have it—the Greenhouse's plant capacity in Stardew Valley.
