Pedro Pascal Slams JK Rowling as 'Heinous Loser' Over Anti-Trans Comments

Pedro Pascal, renowned for his roles in "The Last of Us," "The Mandalorian," and "The Fantastic Four: First Steps," has publicly criticized Harry Potter author J.K. Rowling for her stance against the transgender community. This response came after Rowling celebrated a UK Supreme Court ruling that defines "woman" legally as "a biological woman and biological sex," thereby excluding transgender women from protections under the Equality Act.

Rowling's celebratory post on Twitter/X, featuring her smoking a cigar and drinking by the ocean, included the caption, "I love it when a plan comes together," referencing her financial support for the group For Scotland Women, which filed the lawsuit leading to the ruling.

Pascal's comments were in response to a video by writer and activist Tariq Raouf, who condemned Rowling's actions as "serious Voldemort villain sht" and called for a boycott of all things Harry Potter. Pascal echoed Raouf's sentiments, labeling Rowling's behavior as "Awful disgusting SHT" and "Heinous LOSER behavior."

This is not the first time Pascal has voiced his support for the transgender community. He has previously stated, "I can’t think of anything more vile and small and pathetic than terrorizing the smallest, most vulnerable community of people who want nothing from you, except the right to exist," accompanied by a photo of a sign affirming the historical and future presence of transgender people. Additionally, Pascal showed solidarity by wearing a "Protect the dolls" shirt at the premiere of "Thunderbolts" in London, a phrase used within LGBTQIA+ communities to refer to trans women.

Pascal's advocacy is also deeply personal; his sister, Lux Pascal, is a transgender woman who came out in 2021. Pedro responded to her announcement with heartfelt support, posting, "Mi hermana, mi corazón, nuestra Lux," which translates to "My sister, my heart, our Lux."
