The company explicitly stated that Genki's showcased hardware is not an official Nintendo Switch 2 unit and was never provided by Nintendo.

Genki, an American company specializing in electronics and gaming console accessories (controllers, SSDs, chargers, etc.), generated significant buzz by presenting what they claimed was a 3D-printed model of the Switch 2, along with alleged release date information shared with journalists and attendees. Their website even features a dedicated page for upcoming Switch 2 accessories, including a detailed animated mockup of the console.

Despite Genki's claims, Nintendo remains tight-lipped about official details, only confirming that the Switch 2 will offer backward compatibility with Switch 1 games and promising a future announcement.
