Sword of Convallaria's Night Crimson Update: New Story Content, Characters, and Events

XD Inc. has unleashed the Night Crimson update for its popular tactical RPG, Sword of Convallaria. Launched just this July, the game has already amassed millions of downloads across PC and mobile platforms. This expansion delivers a wealth of new content, including captivating events, enticing rewards, and innovative gameplay mechanics.

Continuing the Spiral of Destinies campaign, the update introduces a thrilling investigative clue wall mechanic to the Waverun City storyline. This innovative gameplay blends detective work with tactical combat, demanding strategic choices as you unravel mysteries under the guidance of Safiyyah, the Mobile Squad's tactical leader.

Night Crimson also debuts SP Characters – alternate versions of beloved characters boasting unique appearances and combat skills. SP Rawiyah arrives January 3rd, followed by Taair on January 17th. Unlocking their SP forms grants an exclusive SP skill, boosting the combat prowess of both the original and SP versions.

The Night Crimson events, active since December 20th, provide ample opportunities to earn valuable rewards. Complete these events to acquire Secret Fates, legendary trinkets, and exclusive avatar frames. The Waverun Tournament, commencing January 3rd, allows you to exchange event points for special items, giving you a competitive edge.

Beyond the new characters and quests, the update offers a behind-the-scenes peek. Developer messages provide insights into the game's future, accompanied by a video message from Safiyyah's Japanese voice actor. A new theme song, "Never Apart," is also included, featuring a Japanese version performed by Hikasa Yoko.
