Navy Reinforcements Join Warpath!

Lilith Games' military strategy MMO, Warpath, receives a significant naval expansion. This update introduces a comprehensive Naval Force system, featuring almost 100 meticulously detailed and realistic ships, fundamentally altering gameplay.

Warpath's Navy Update Deployed

Players can command powerful vessels like the Nimitz-Class Aircraft Carrier, ideal for long-range aerial assaults, or the stealthy Project 971 Submarine, perfect for surprise underwater attacks. The Arleigh Burke-Class Destroyer, armed with guided missiles, provides precise, high-impact strikes. Each ship faithfully mirrors its real-world counterpart in terms of combat capabilities.

The Naval Force is categorized into six distinct combat roles:

  • Submarines: Masters of stealth, utilizing their "Silent Running" ability.
  • Anti-Submarine Frigates: High-speed hunters, specifically designed to counter submarines.
  • Aircraft Carriers: Long-range dominance through carrier-based aircraft strikes.
  • Anti-Aircraft Destroyers: Control the skies and neutralize surface threats.
  • Armored Destroyers: Slow but heavily armored, absorbing significant damage.
  • Guided Missile Destroyers: Long-range specialists, capable of destroying enemy bases from a distance.

Lilith Games has implemented a balanced system encouraging strategic decision-making. Submarines can ambush carriers, but risk being countered by agile frigates. Armored Destroyers act as damage sponges, complementing the long-range firepower of missile destroyers.

Further Enhancements

Naval Force combat has been refined, adjusting attack and defense values to promote more tactical engagements. Ships can now fire while maneuvering. Additionally, exclusive in-game events are planned throughout January.
