"Morikomori Life: A New Ghibli-Style Rural Sim"

Morikomori Life has officially launched on Android and iOS platforms, but currently, it's exclusive to the Japanese market. This charming rural farm life simulation game is brought to you by Realfun Studio, marking a shift from its initial release in China by Level Infinite under Tencent Games. Notably, the Chinese version was discontinued approximately a year ago.

The Rural Farm Life Sim Is Back

One of the standout features of Morikomori Life is its captivating visuals. The developers have masterfully captured the essence of cozy living through anime-inspired, specifically Studio Ghibli-style art. These visuals are not just aesthetically pleasing; they truly evoke the feeling of scenes directly lifted from a Ghibli animated film.

In the game, you step into the shoes of Kaon, a young Japanese girl who receives a mysterious letter from her grandmother, prompting her to return to her childhood village, Komori. Your journey in Morikomori Life is all about rediscovering the joys of a peaceful rural existence. The game's 3D toon shading beautifully brings to life the serene Japanese countryside, making it feel warm and inviting.

Morikomori Life Lets You Experience Slow-Paced Living

Morikomori Life is all about embracing a slower, more relaxed pace of life. Engage in various slice-of-life activities such as farming, cooking, fishing, hunting, and even constructing your own home. You can gather resources like wood and ore, explore to find rare materials, and use these to enhance your living space and lifestyle.

As you progress, you'll unlock new ways to upgrade your home and expand your world. Customize Kaon's appearance to match your personal style, forge new friendships in the village, and cook dishes with ingredients you've foraged. Help out the villagers with various tasks, making your stay in Komori even more rewarding.

The game offers an open-world experience, allowing you the freedom to roam and discover delightful surprises scattered throughout the environment.

If you're in Japan, you can dive into Morikomori Life on the Google Play Store. As of now, there's no confirmation on a global release, so keep an eye out for future updates.
