At the ID@Xbox Showcase event, the team behind Moonlighter 2: The Endless Vault unveiled an exciting new trailer that provided fans with a sneak peek into the much-anticipated sequel. Excitingly, it was announced that the game will be available on Xbox Game Pass from day one, with a release expected before the year's end.

Developed by Digital Sun in collaboration with publisher 11 bit studios, Moonlighter 2: The Endless Vault is an isometric action-adventure RPG with roguelike elements. Players will embark on a thrilling journey, aiming to transform their modest shop into a thriving business by exploring dungeons, collecting rare artifacts, and engaging in battles against formidable creatures.

Digital Sun has promised that Moonlighter 2 will build upon the original game's foundation, offering richer narratives and improved gameplay mechanics. The storyline follows the protagonist, Will, on his quest to find his native dimension within the vast world of Trense. Along the way, Will reconnects with old friends and forges new alliances. His journey intertwines with that of a mysterious trader who entrusts him with the mission to locate powerful relics that are believed to hold the key to his return home.

The game's enchanting soundtrack is composed by the renowned Chris Larkin, famous for his work on Hollow Knight. Fans can look forward to the launch of Moonlighter 2: The Endless Vault later this year on PC (via Steam), Xbox Series, and PS5.
