Minecraft Movie Popcorn Bucket Revealed

Author:Kristen Update:May 22,2025

Remember themed popcorn buckets? Of course, you do. The excitement continues with the upcoming Minecraft movie, which is set to join the consumer trend with its own unique concessions novelties during its theatrical run. According to images shared by DiscussingFilm on X / Twitter, the Minecraft movie will feature a TNT box as its popcorn bucket, alongside a chicken jockey drink container. These items seem to be exclusive to the Cinemark chain of theaters in the United States, but fans will have to stay tuned to see what other theaters have planned for Minecraft enthusiasts.

These Minecraft-themed novelties are the latest addition to a trend that became a national sensation following the 2019 release of Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker, with its iconic R2-D2 popcorn bucket. The virality of that bucket sparked a new tradition in theaters, one that, while perhaps overdone and pricey, continues to draw audiences to the cinematic experience. If it encourages people to enjoy movies in theaters, it's a win in my book.
