Konami's developers have shared updates on the highly anticipated Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater remake. Producer Noriaki Okamura confirmed a 2025 release as the studio's top priority, emphasizing their commitment to delivering a refined, high-quality product that meets fan expectations.

Okamura, in a recent 4Gamer interview, stated that the game is fully playable from start to finish, with the remaining development time dedicated to polishing gameplay and enhancing overall quality. Previous speculation of a 2024 release, initially suggested by PlayStation, has been revised. Sources within the studio now point to a 2025 launch. The remake will be available on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.

The remake aims to faithfully capture the essence of the original while integrating modern game mechanics and stunning visuals. Beyond graphical upgrades, Okamura hinted at new features designed to enhance the gameplay experience.
