Marvel Studios has officially unveiled the debut trailer for *The Fantastic Four: First Steps*, offering fans a thrilling first glimpse into one of the most anticipated superhero films set to hit screens in 2025. The trailer introduces audiences to Reed Richards (Pedro Pascal), Sue Storm (Vanessa Kirby), Johnny Storm (Joseph Quinn), and Ben Grimm (Ebon Moss-Bachrach) as they step into their iconic roles as Mr. Fantastic, Invisible Woman, Human Torch, and The Thing respectively.

The action kicks off with a family-style dinner scene at the Baxter Building, showcasing the film’s unique 1960s retro-futuristic aesthetic. As the trailer progresses, it teases an epic showdown that appears to be heading toward the streets of New York. One of the standout villains teased is Galactus, the cosmic devourer of worlds, hinting at a high-stakes storyline that will challenge the team like never before.

The trailer also offers a look at Ben Grimm both before and after his transformation into The Thing, highlighting the emotional and physical journey he undergoes. A surprising yet welcome addition to the cast is H.E.R.B.I.E.—the Fantastic Four’s robotic companion—seen engaging in some light-hearted moments, including what looks like a cooking session alongside The Thing.

Sue Storm is briefly shown using her invisibility powers in combat, while Johnny Storm soars through the sky engulfed in flames as the Human Torch. Interestingly, Reed Richards doesn’t appear to demonstrate any of his signature stretching abilities in the trailer, leaving fans curious about how his powers will unfold in the final film.

John Malkovich makes a brief but intriguing appearance in the footage, widely believed to be portraying Ivan Kragoff, better known in the comics as the Red Ghost—a Soviet super-soldier with enhanced strength and intelligence.

The premiere took place at the U.S. Space & Rocket Center in Huntsville, Alabama, where the cast interacted with excited fans. The event marked the first time the public got to see the official trailer, building excitement across the Marvel fanbase.

The Fantastic Four: First Steps is scheduled for release on July 25, 2025. The film also features Ralph Ineson as Galactus, Julia Garner as Silver Surfer, Paul Walter Hauser, Natasha Lyonne, and Sarah Niles in key roles. Directed by Matt Shakman and produced by Marvel Studios’ Kevin Feige, this film sets the stage for the future of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Forced to balance their roles as heroes with the strength of their family bond, they must defend Earth from a ravenous space god called Galactus (Ralph Ineson) and his enigmatic Herald, Silver Surfer (Julia Garner). And if Galactus’ plan to devour the entire planet and everyone on it weren’t bad enough, it suddenly gets very personal.
