Second Dinner has released the latest Marvel Snap season, "Masters of the Arcane." Enter a realm of mystical energy and explore some of the more obscure characters from Marvel’s universe.

Masters of the Arcane Introduces New Characters to Marvel Snap

This season shines a spotlight on characters who don’t always get top billing. Nicholas Scratch and Morgan Le Fay are the first to emerge, launching today and continuing through July 1.

They’ll be joined throughout the month by Merlin, The Ancient One, Nightmare, Dormammu, Clea, Kid Omega, Cobra, and Jennifer Kale. The Ancient One’s training grounds are also featured with the Astral Plane, a new location where illusions take over.

Merlin, the headliner of the season pass, is a master sorcerer. In Marvel Snap, he introduces a layer of unpredictability each turn during the Masters of the Arcane season. His ability to replace your weakest card for bonus energy next turn can turn the tide of any match.

Experience These Fresh Features

Between June 16th and 25th, dive into High Voltage: Overdrive, a temporary twist on the standard High Voltage mode. When five charge cards are played, the reactor detonates, sparking chaos. Finish missions in this mode to unlock Kid Omega and Cobra.

The Masters of the Arcane season also brings two new locations. Camelot boosts every card there to 5 Power after turn five, while the Astral Plane generates a zero-Power copy of a card from your hand at the end of each turn.

Plus, starting June 10th, Marvel Snap’s first fully self-published update goes live. This means Second Dinner is now managing all operations in-house — including customer support, login systems, and the web shop.
