"Locate the Trader in Garbage: Stalker 2 Guide"

After you exit the Lesser Zone in *Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl*, you'll soon find yourself entering the Garbage area. Given that this region is quite a distance from your initial base, it will take some time before you can encounter the traders in the Garbage region.

Upon entering the Garbage zone, don't expect your quest marker to immediately guide you to the next Stalker hub. To visit the Slag Heap officially, you'll need to advance the main storyline. Specifically, after completing the "Answers Come at a Price" quest, the game will reveal the location of this hub. To achieve this, you'll need to visit the Detention Center and the Laboratory before meeting with Scar.

Once you've accomplished these tasks, the game will direct you to the Slag Heap. However, you have the option to visit this Stalker hub earlier; it's situated north of the laboratory. In the *Stalker 2* Garbage area, you can find two traders. The first, Boozer, runs the bar at the entrance, making him impossible to miss. He offers meals and drinks but is also willing to purchase any items you wish to sell.

Another trader, Huron, can be found within the same hub. To reach him, head left from the entrance and then take the open door to your right. Huron primarily deals in weapons and other gear. Conveniently, you can also store your extra belongings in your stash located inside his room. Besides trading, speaking with Huron can initiate a side quest.

While not a trader, you can also encounter a Tech in the Slag Heap. Located at the back of the left corridor, you'll need to speak with Diode to progress the main quest, ensuring you won't miss him.
