Nintendo's Latest Collaboration: A LEGO Game Boy!

Nintendo and LEGO have teamed up again, this time producing a LEGO Game Boy set! Launching October 2025, this follows the successful LEGO NES release. This announcement has sparked online speculation, with many playfully suggesting it's Nintendo's way of revealing their next console.

While the Nintendo Switch 2 remains unannounced, President Furukawa confirmed in May 2024 that an announcement is coming before the end of their fiscal year (March). The price of the LEGO Game Boy remains undisclosed, with further details promised in the coming weeks.

Beyond the NES and Game Boy, Nintendo and LEGO have previously collaborated on sets featuring characters from popular franchises like Super Mario, Animal Crossing, and The Legend of Zelda.

A notable example is the May 2024 release of the 2,500-piece "Great Deku Tree 2-in-1" set from The Legend of Zelda series, featuring Princess Zelda and the Master Sword. This set retails at $299.99 USD.

Super Mario LEGO Set

Following in July 2024, a Super Mario World LEGO set showcasing Mario riding Yoshi was released for $129.99 USD. This unique set uses a crank mechanism to animate Yoshi's legs.
