The developers acknowledged that they had “missed the mark” after reviewing the feedback. Despite the delay, Tripwire remains committed to ensuring Killing Floor 3 delivers both a bold evolution and a faithful continuation of the series.

No new release timeline has been shared, but the game is still expected to launch later this year.

⚫︎ Tripwire Interactive revealed that Killing Floor III will launch in March 2025 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC through Steam and the Epic Games Store. The cooperative horror FPS will support full cross-play across platforms. Publisher PLAION will handle the distribution of physical copies, and a closed beta test is also in progress ahead of the official release.

Players will join humanity’s fight against Horzine, a formidable megacorporation controlling an army of bioengineered monsters called Zeds. The third installment in the brutal first-person shooter series will return players to the challenge of surviving relentless waves of horrifying creatures using an extensive arsenal of weapons and survival tools such as welders, flashlights, and healing syringes.

Although a release date has yet to be disclosed, Killing Floor 3 is already available for wishlist on Steam, the Epic Games Store, and the PlayStation Store. The game will also be launching on Xbox Series X|S.
