Indiana Jones PS5 Release Date Nears as ESRB Rating Surfaces

Indiana Jones and the Great Circle has secured a PlayStation 5 rating on the Entertainment Software Rating Board’s website, indicating a launch is approaching.

MachineGames’ acclaimed action-adventure title debuted on Xbox Series X and S and PC in December 2024, with a PS5 release slated for spring 2025, likely within the coming months.

Microsoft has yet to announce a precise PS5 release date for Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, focusing instead on other titles during its recent Xbox Developer Direct event. An announcement appears imminent, however.

MachineGames has rolled out multiple updates since the game’s Xbox debut, recently addressing bugs and introducing Nvidia DLSS 4 with Multi Frame Generation and DLSS Ray Reconstruction for PC. The PS5 version will include all console updates released so far.

Launched day one on Game Pass, Indiana Jones and the Great Circle has already attracted 4 million players, a number set to grow significantly with the PS5 release.

Harrison Ford, the iconic Indiana Jones actor, praised Troy Baker’s portrayal of the character in Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, noting it shows "no need for artificial intelligence to capture my essence."

In a discussion with The Wall Street Journal, Ford expressed satisfaction with Baker, known for The Last of Us, and his performance.

"You don’t need AI to capture my essence," Ford stated. "Talent and good ideas can do it for a fraction of the cost. Baker delivered an outstanding performance without relying on AI."
