Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered enhances its engaging action gameplay with extensive options for weapon and outfit customization. Whether you're sneaking past machines or engaging in fierce melee or ranged combat, tailoring your outfits can significantly impact your gameplay strategy.

Sometimes, you might find yourself wishing for the combined benefits of multiple outfits. Fortunately, this is possible within the remastered version, but it comes with certain restrictions. Below, we'll guide you through the process.

Remastered Version Of Horizon Zero Dawn Required

The ability to enjoy the effects of two outfits simultaneously is exclusive to the Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered edition. Thanks to a recent patch, the game now includes a transmog feature that allows you to maintain the stats and effects of one outfit while adopting the appearance of another. This means you no longer need to compromise on style for the sake of stats.

Pre-Requisite For The Two Outfit Method

To utilize the effects of two outfits, you must keep a few key points in mind. Not all outfits are compatible with this method. While you can choose any outfit for one slot, the second must be one of the following:

• Banuk Werak Runner
• Banuk Werak Chieftain
• Banuk Werak Chieftain Adept (only available in New Game Plus)

These specific outfits become available only within the Frozen Wilds DLC area, so you won't be able to start using this technique right at the beginning of the game. Thankfully, you don't need to finish the base game to access the DLC.

How To Get Banuk Werak Outfits In Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered

Banuk Werak Runner

Begin by entering the expansion area, which you can access after defeating a new machine. If you find this challenging, consider lowering the difficulty or upgrading your gear beforehand. Once in the area, find a Bluegleam Merchant (marked by a blue Merchant icon) and purchase the Banuk Werak Runner outfit.

Banuk Werak Chieftain & Banuk Werak Chieftain Adept

For the superior Banuk Werak Chieftain outfit, you must complete the "For the Werak" quest, the third main quest in the Frozen Wilds DLC. Equip your best gear, as this mission can be tough. Alternatively, switch to Story mode for an easier completion and faster unlock of the outfit.

To get the Adept version, follow the same process, but this can only be done in New Game Plus.

Once you've obtained the second outfit, you can stop progressing through the Frozen Wilds if you wish.

What To Do To Get the Effects Of Two Outfits

First, equip your preferred outfit, focusing on the stats you want. Enhance these stats further with Weaves if necessary. Then, use the transmog feature to overlay the appearance of one of the three Banuk Werak outfits. While these outfits don't add to the stats, they provide automatic healing after a period of taking damage.

By doing this, you retain the stats of your chosen outfit while benefiting from the auto-healing perk of the Banuk Werak outfits. If you're wearing the Shield Weaver outfit initially, you become nearly invincible, taking minimal damage and benefiting from the healing perk when you do.

The healing perk of the Chieftain and Chieftain Adept outfits activates quicker than that of the Banuk Werak Runner, making them preferable choices if available.
