Pokémon Center Hiroshima Relocates, Unveils Gyarados Plaza

Pokémon Center Hiroshima will temporarily close in March 2025 and reopen at a new location in April 2025. A new Gyarados Plaza will also debut in March.

The store's relocation is to the second floor of Ekie, Hiroshima Station's north exit. The current location, open since June 2015, is on the 6th floor of Sogo Hiroshima’s Main Building.

Gyarados Plaza Opens at Hiroshima Station

The "Gyarados Plaza by Pokémon Center Hiroshima" will open March 24, 2025, on the rooftop of Soramoa Plaza within the new Minamoa building at Hiroshima Station. This playground features large Gyarados-themed play equipment. Advance reservations will be required for a limited time after opening. Details will be posted on the official Minamoa website.

Nationwide "Poke-lun TV" Event

Pokémon Centers across Japan, including Hiroshima (before its closure), will celebrate "Poke-lun TV" exceeding 1 million subscribers with a special event.

A password from a December 19, 2024, "Poke-lun TV" YouTube video is required to receive an exclusive sticker at participating stores. Select Pokémon Centers (Mega Tokyo, Osaka, and Okinawa) will also offer photo opportunities with "Poke-lun TV" hosts.

The event runs January 17-February 16, 2025. This event excludes Pokémon Stores, Pokémon Center Online, Pokémon Cafes, and Pikachu Sweets by Pokémon Cafe.
