Hades 2: Timed Exclusive for Nintendo Switch and Switch 2

Hades 2 is set to launch on Nintendo Switch and the upcoming Nintendo Switch 2 as a timed console exclusive. While an exact release date hasn't been announced, developer Supergiant has confirmed that the much-awaited sequel will be available on PC and Nintendo Switch 2, alongside the original Switch, simultaneously later this year.

The announcement that Hades 2 would be coming to Nintendo's enhanced Switch 2 was first teased during last week's Nintendo Direct. However, Supergiant has since clarified that the game will not only be available on both Switch models but will also be exclusive to Nintendo's consoles for a limited time.

"Hades II v1.0 will launch simultaneously on our Early Access platforms (Steam and Epic Games Store), Nintendo Switch 2, and the original Nintendo Switch," the team announced on X/Twitter.

Currently, it remains unclear when Hades 2 will expand to other consoles such as the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X and S.

Hades 2 is the follow-up to Supergiant's acclaimed first game, blending compelling storytelling with roguelite action in a dungeon-crawling adventure.
