Gully Gangs: 4v4 Street Cricket Multiplayer Now in Open Beta on Android

In India, the thrill of playing cricket in a tight alley, or 'gully,' often surpasses the traditional field experience. Embracing this unique charm, an indie Indian studio, 5th Ocean Studios, has launched their latest cricket game, "Gully Gangs: Street Cricket," into Open Beta on Android.

Not Your Typical Cricket Sim

"Gully Gangs: Street Cricket" revolutionizes the genre with its 4v4 multiplayer format, set in the vibrant, narrow alleys of India, known locally as 'gullies.' This marks the debut of a 4v4 street cricket game, bringing the excitement of rooftop catches, dodging scooters, and the humorous interruptions of neighborhood uncles cautioning against broken windows. Adding to the fun, the game also supports 1v1 mode for those who prefer a more personal challenge.

Players can engage in dynamic gameplay with power moves and communicate with their team via voice chat. The interactive experience is enriched with features allowing players to sledge opponents, drop emojis during matches, and even execute some cheeky tactics. The game's environments are authentically Indian, featuring live neighborhood scenes with broken stumps, makeshift pitches, and unpredictable bounces off uneven walls.

Customization is a key highlight, offering players the ability to create and personalize their gang with a variety of funky outfits and unlockable skins, enhancing the street cricket vibe.

Gully Gangs: Street Cricket Is Now in Open Beta

Currently in Open Beta, "Gully Gangs: Street Cricket" is set to receive numerous updates from 5th Ocean Studios, including new street maps, fresh outfits, regular events, clan wars, and an ambitious esports mode. The game will also feature leaderboards, daily and weekly challenges, and competitive gang vs. gang matchups.

Available exclusively on Android for now, the developers are planning to expand to iOS and Steam, with full controller support and cross-platform play on the horizon. If you're eager to dive into this unique street cricket experience, you can download the game from the Google Play Store.
