The Trial of the Sekhemas in Path of Exile 2 is an endgame activity, similar to the Sanctum from the first game. It's a valuable source of loot, but can be challenging early on. While not part of the main storyline, completing it aids early character progression. This guide provides key information.

How to Unlock the Trial of the Sekhemas in Path of Exile 2

To access this activity, defeat Balbala the Traitor, found in Traitor's Passage (Act 2). She's a tough opponent early on, but defeating her yields Balbala's Barya, crucial for starting the Trial.

After defeating Balbala, travel to the Trial's location via the Ardura's travel map or Waypoint. You'll find a ruined temple where Balbala, now an advisor, awaits. Place Balbala's Barya on the Relic Altar to begin.
