GTA 6 Trailer Features New Song

Author:Kristen Update:May 13,2026

Rockstar has finally unveiled the second trailer for Grand Theft Auto 6, and fans are already buzzing with one key question: what's the soundtrack playing in this new GTA 6 preview?

This two-and-a-half-minute showcase puts the action and romance of Vice City front and center, while reminding everyone that Rockstar continues to deliver incredible soundtracks. Staying true to form, the second trailer features The Pointer Sisters' "Hot Together." This '80s classic, rarely heard on the radio in 2025, perfectly sets the tone for the upcoming open-world adventure from the Grand Theft Auto team.

"Hot Together" is the title track from the California trio's 1986 pop R&B album, running four minutes and 13 seconds long. Beyond being an unmistakably '80s dance track, the song feels perfectly at home in this reimagined Vice City. Though it currently doesn't rank among The Pointer Sisters' top 10 most-streamed songs on Spotify, that's likely to change as the day unfolds.

Grand Theft Auto 6 was first properly revealed with its debut trailer in December 2023. That dreamy glimpse into Rockstar's new world was accompanied by Tom Petty’s "Love Is a Long Road," which saw a sudden spike in streams and sparked fan theories about how the track might hint at GTA 6's story and characters. Fans are sure to dive deep into "Hot Together" as we count down to the game’s launch next year.
