Game of Thrones: Kingsroad Unveils New Legendary Creatures for Altar of Memories Multiplayer Mode

Netmarble has released a sneak peek at upcoming additions to Game of Thrones: Kingsroad, showcasing several never-before-seen creatures in the world of Westeros. These formidable beasts will be featured in the game's Altar of Memories, a cooperative multiplayer mode challenging players to team up against powerful enemies.

The preview highlights Drogon, appearing as a formidable Field Boss, alongside a host of original monsters inspired by George R.R. Martin's A Song of Ice and Fire. Some of these creatures are entirely new to any Game of Thrones adaptation.

Among the newly revealed monsters are:

  • Ice Spiders: Massive arachnids, legendary in size (as large as hounds), known to have been ridden by White Walkers. These silent hunters ambush from cave ceilings with venomous attacks.

yt

  • Stormhorn Unicorns: A rare breed hailing from Skagos, these colossal unicorns utilize their powerful horns to devastating effect. Their connection to thunderstorms adds a thrilling electrical element to combat.

  • Ironbeak Griffins: These majestic creatures once dominated the Westerlands' valleys, nesting in abandoned mines. Their sharp talons and keen eyesight make them perilous aerial attackers.

  • Red Cockatrice: A terrifying hybrid of dragon and rooster, this creature boasts a razor-sharp beak and deadly claws, posing a significant threat to any who dare challenge it.

Beyond the new creatures, players will embark on a fresh storyline, assuming the role of a House Tyrell heir. A detailed character creator allows for personalized character customization, followed by the selection of one of three classes: Sellsword, Knight, or Assassin – each inspired by iconic Game of Thrones characters.
