Freedom Wars Remastered: Max CODE Level Revealed

Quick Links

In Freedom Wars Remastered, every action you take contributes to reducing your initial one million-year sentence—simply for the crime of being born. While you're constantly working to shorten your prison term, another crucial goal is to elevate your CODE level, which can significantly ease the life of a sinner.

Your CODE level unlocks more Entitlements, making gameplay more manageable. These can include the ability to run longer distances, or enhancements to your comrades and gear, making battles against Abductors much smoother. As you progress, you'll encounter several CODE levels; let's dive into the specifics.

How Many CODE Levels Are In Freedom Wars Remastered

Freedom Wars Remastered offers a total of eight CODE levels for players to advance through. Once you've upgraded your CODE level, there's no going back, so you don't have to worry about accidentally increasing your sentence beyond what's necessary for your current CODE, especially in Deadly Sinner Mode. Each time you elevate your CODE level, you gain access to more Entitlements to purchase and a broader range of operations to undertake.

How To Increase Your CODE Level In Freedom Wars Remastered

To check the requirements for upgrading your CODE level, simply converse with your Accessory in your cell and select "Check CODE Upgrade Conditions". Typically, you'll need to reach a specific milestone in your prison sentence and unlock certain Entitlements. It's wise to review this menu regularly to avoid spending your Entitlement Points on less essential upgrades, as you may need to donate resources later to acquire more.

Donating just one high-end resource or weapon can often yield enough points to cover numerous Entitlements.

To advance your CODE level, you must fulfill all the listed conditions. However, your CODE level progression is also intricately linked to the main storyline. Completing main story missions and operations is essential, as they often serve as part of the CODE exam required to reach the next level. Sometimes, the main story missions can even substitute for the CODE exam.

Operations are categorized by CODE levels, indicating their difficulty. You'll complete most operations as you advance through the story of each CODE level. Occasionally, additional optional operations become available after you progress, offering extra challenges for those who might need more preparation before tackling the missions of their new CODE level.
