"Freedom Wars Remastered: Mastering the Cell Garden"

Quick Links

The Cell Garden is a key area in your Panopticon that you'll encounter early in the main storyline of Freedom Wars Remastered. It serves as a safe haven for resource farming, offering a less risky alternative to operations.

Throughout Freedom Wars Remastered, you'll discover multiple Cell Gardens, and the method to find each one remains consistent across different levels. Below, we'll guide you on locating any Cell Garden and explain how they function for resource gathering.

Where To Find Cell Garden Entrances In Freedom Wars Remastered

Your journey to the Cell Garden begins with a task from Mattias, who wants you to investigate a ghost girl story. To reach the Cell Garden, head to the main cell block on Level 2: 2-A000. From your cell, look to the left corner of the block to spot a small room resembling an elevator. Interact with it to be transported to 2-E165, the same area where you encountered Enzo.

Upon arriving at 2-E165, follow the wall to your right to find another small room with a device that will take you to 2-G100. Continue this pattern one more time; the far room in 2-G100 contains the device leading to the Cell Garden.

This path to the Cell Garden remains the same on all levels. Unlocking the Quick-Travel Entitlement can significantly reduce the travel time required to reach it. Once you've completed the main quest associated with the Cell Garden, you can access it anytime and visit other Cell Gardens as well. Before doing so, consider acquiring a helpful Entitlement.

Each device that transports you to the next room or the Cell Garden is marked with a distinctive blue door icon.

How Does The Cell Garden Work In Freedom Wars Remastered

The Cell Garden's mechanics differ slightly between the main story mission and regular visits. Here's how it operates outside the main quest:

  • You have a one-minute window before being ejected.
  • The room's layout changes with each visit.
  • Eight resources, represented by small green orbs, are scattered across the floor.

To enhance your time in the Cell Garden, you can buy Entitlements from the Window on Liberty. These upgrades can extend your stay, which is useful as some layouts feature more complex puzzles. The first upgrade, available at CODE level 3, extends your time to two minutes.
