In Freedom Wars Remastered, customizing your loadout for operations is key to success. While larger components like weapons and Thrones are changed less frequently, Combat Items—being consumable and versatile—are crucial yet finite resources.

Although you may occasionally receive more Combat Items as rewards from operations, the amounts are often insufficient for subsequent missions. At the game's outset, you're limited to equipping just one Combat Item at a time. Here’s how you can overcome these limitations.

How To Equip More Combat Items In Freedom Wars Remastered

To increase the number of Combat Items you can equip, you need to acquire specific Entitlements. From your cell, interact with the Window On Liberty and select "Claim Entitlements". Navigate to the Equipment section within Entitlements and move to the right tab to find the One-Item Permit at the top. Each permit below this one allows you to equip an additional Combat Item, up to a total of four.

These Permits become available early in the story, and you can purchase all four by reaching CODE level 3. Note that subsequent Permits only appear after purchasing the previous one. When you equip a Combat Item, such as a Frag Grenade, you equip the entire stack available at the start of the Operation.

Additionally, your Accessory can also carry one Combat Item, which is used at its discretion.

Where To Get More Combat Items In Freedom Wars Remastered

As you progress beyond the initial missions in the main story, you'll unlock access to The Warren, a central HUB area. On the upper story of The Warren, along the right side, you'll find the Zakka store. Here, alongside weapons, you can select the "Buy Items" option to access Munitions and Medical Supplies lists.

  • Munitions: These are items that directly damage enemies during combat.
  • Medical Supplies: These include items that heal, cure ailments, or refill ammunition.

Combat Items are sold individually, and purchasing large quantities can quickly deplete your Entitlement Points. If you find yourself needing many Medkits, consider donating old resources to replenish your stock. While operations may occasionally reward you with Combat Items, relying on this method for farming is inefficient due to the time required and the potential for using more items than you gain.
