Charlie Cox's successful transition from Netflix's Daredevil to the MCU has sparked speculation about potential comebacks for other members of The Defenders. Finn Jones, who portrayed Danny Rand in the Netflix series Iron Fist and The Defenders, has expressed his eagerness to reprise his role. In a recent appearance at the LaConve anime convention in Monterrey, NL, Mexico, Jones openly addressed the criticisms surrounding his portrayal of Iron Fist, stating, "I’m here and I’m ready."

Jones last donned the Iron Fist mantle in 2018 during Season 2 of the Netflix series and in The Defenders, where he teamed up with Charlie Cox's Daredevil, Mike Colter's Luke Cage, and Krysten Ritter's Jessica Jones. Despite the mixed reception to his performance, Jones remains optimistic about returning to the character, acknowledging the fans' divided opinions. He passionately remarked, "Give me a f***ing chance, man. I want to prove people wrong."

The reintegration of Daredevil into the MCU, now officially canon alongside other MCU shows and films on Disney+, has fueled speculation about the potential revival of The Defenders. Reports suggest that Marvel is "exploring" the idea, which has raised hopes among fans for the return of other Defenders characters, including Iron Fist. The inclusion of Jon Bernthal's Punisher in the upcoming "Daredevil: Born Again" further strengthens the connection between the Netflix series and the broader MCU.
