Mortal Kombat 1 has officially introduced the latest addition to its Kameo fighters lineup: Madam Bo, the owner of Fengjian Teahouse. She, along with the iconic villain T-1000 from Terminator 2, will make their debut on March 18th, 2025, as part of the Kombat Pack 2 and the Khaos Reigns expansion.

Before stepping into the role of an assist character, Madam Bo made an appearance in Mortal Kombat 1's story mode. She was seemingly defeated by Lin Kuei assassin Smoke for failing to pay protection money, but this was a clever ruse to prepare Raiden and Kung Lao for the tournament. Despite her unassuming appearance, Madam Bo is a force to be reckoned with. As a former associate of the Lin Kuei and a skilled martial artist, she has mentored Raiden and Kung Lao, making her a valuable ally in battle.

The gameplay footage showcases Madam Bo in action, assisting her pupils with powerful kicks and punches. Her unique style includes smashing glass bottles and a spectacular finishing fatality where she kicks her opponent's head off, only to catch it gracefully on a tea tray.

T-1000 Makes Its Guest Debut

Joining Madam Bo on March 18th is the cold and cunning T-1000 from Terminator 2: Judgment Day. This liquid metal assassin will make its first appearance in the Mortal Kombat franchise as a playable character, utilizing its shapeshifting abilities to wield a sharp sword or a fully-armed machine gun against opponents.

Mortal Kombat 1: Khaos Reigns Expansion

The introduction of Madam Bo and T-1000 is part of the new Mortal Kombat 1 expansion and DLC, Khaos Reigns. This expansion extends Liu Kang's New Era storyline with a fresh campaign and a cinematic experience. Players will follow Liu Kang as he gathers his champions to combat the ruthless Titan Havik, who poses a significant threat to the world and the New Era.

The Kombat Pack 2, part of the Khaos Reigns expansion, introduces several new characters. The pack's rollout began with the return of Sektor, Noob Saibot, and Cyrax in September 2024, followed by Ghostface from the Scream franchise in November, and Conan the Barbarian in January 2025.
