Author:Kristen Update:Jan 24,2025

Unravel the mystery surrounding your father's disappearance in My Father Lied, Ahmed Alameen's debut point-and-click adventure game, launching May 30th!

This narrative-driven puzzler, inspired by Mesopotamian history, casts you as Huda, a young woman investigating her father's vanishing twenty years prior. The discovery of a previously unknown brother reignites her quest for answers.

Alameen, initially collaborating on the project, took the reins after their team dissolved, mastering game design to bring his vision to life.

Employ classic point-and-click mechanics to explore captivating environments, piecing together images, deciphering codes, and more. Alameen cites Myst, Heaven's Vault, and the works of H.P. Lovecraft as key influences. A blend of 2D and 360-degree imagery, including meticulously crafted frame-by-frame cutscenes, ensures visually stunning gameplay even on less powerful machines.

My Father Lied arrives May 30th on App Store, Google Play, and Steam for $10.99/€. Add it to your Steam Wishlist now! Mobile pre-registration isn't yet available. Stay connected with Lunar Games on X, Discord, TikTok, and Instagram for updates. A Kickstarter campaign is also on the horizon.
