The highly anticipated "Hi, Buddy!" expansion for Farlight 84 has arrived, bringing a host of exciting new features. The update centers around the introduction of a Buddy System, featuring charming and helpful companion pets, alongside map revamps and engaging new events.

Meet Your Buddies!

The star of the show is undoubtedly the Buddy System. These adorable pets aren't just for show; they actively assist players during matches. Two categories exist: Common Buddies and Archon Buddies. Common Buddies, easily acquired, offer useful abilities. Archon Buddies, rarer counterparts, boast significantly more powerful skills.

Buddies are obtained using Buddy Orbs, scattered throughout the game map. These Orbs also serve as storage for up to six tactical items, adding extra strategic depth. Ten Buddies have been introduced with the expansion, including Common Buddies like Buzzy, Morphdrake, Petal Peeper, Smokey, Snatchpaw, Squeaky, Sparky, and Zephy, and Archon Buddies, the Time Dominator and Storm Empress. The Time Dominator can manipulate the Safe Zone, while the Storm Empress unleashes powerful tornadoes.

More Than Just Buddies!

The Sunder Realms map has received a significant overhaul, boasting new terrain features, structures, and landmarks. Players can now navigate ramps, utilize upgraded buildings for cover, and discover unique additions like giant duck statues and floating boulders.

A new Tactical Core system allows players to earn Trait points to upgrade hero skills and unlock new abilities as they progress. However, Trait Activation Cards are required to maximize these abilities.

The "Hi, Buddy!" expansion also introduces the Buddy Showdown and Rare Consolidation Event, offering enticing rewards such as skins and loot boxes.
