Eldritch Fishing Sim 'Dredge' Launches on Mobile This Month

Author:Kristen Update:Mar 12,2025

The highly anticipated eldritch fishing simulator, Dredge, is finally setting sail for mobile devices on February 27th! After several release date shifts, fishing aficionados can prepare to experience the sanity-bending isolation of the deep sea.

In Dredge, you'll take on the role of a nameless fisherman navigating the treacherous waters surrounding a desolate archipelago. Your task: catch fish and trade them with the island's inhabitants. However, maintaining and upgrading your boat, exploring the archipelago's mysteries, and facing the unsettling encounters lurking in the night fog will add layers of complexity to your simple fishing routine.

As previously reported, Dredge's mobile port faced delays, originally slated for February 2025. Now, with the February 27th release date confirmed on the iOS App Store (the Android Google Play listing is pending), the wait is almost over.

Beyond the core fishing gameplay, Dredge offers a surprisingly deep upgrade system and a generous helping of Lovecraftian horror. While details on potential DLC remain unannounced, the main game already boasts several expansions that significantly expand the archipelago's scope.

With its charming low-poly aesthetic and engaging visuals, Dredge is poised to become a mobile gaming favorite.
