"Dreadmoor: New PC Game Blends Fishing with Post-Apocalyptic Mystery"

Author:Kristen Update:May 14,2025

Developer Dream Dock has unveiled Dreadmoor, an exciting new first-person single-player action-adventure game inspired by the 2023 hit Dredge. In Dreadmoor, players will take control of a fishing trawler, navigating the treacherous waters of the post-apocalyptic Drownlands. The game is currently in development for PC, and you can get a sneak peek by checking out the announcement trailer and the first screenshots in the gallery below.

Dream Dock describes Dreadmoor as follows: "Step behind the helm of a fishing trawler and set sail into a world transformed by a global nuclear war. Continents have vanished beneath the waves, leaving behind a landscape of scattered islands and the submerged ruins of ancient civilizations. As you navigate these waters, you'll sell your catch to survivors, undertake quests, and strive to survive. Be vigilant—creatures in your ship's cargo hold might devour each other! Enhance your vessel and craft equipment to delve into the hidden depths and uncover secret locations. Mutated creatures and sinister mysteries await in the deep and within abandoned structures, especially at night. Beware of the ever-present threat of radiation..."
