Diablo 4 Infinite Damage Build Makes Servers Lag

If you're diving into the latest season of Diablo 4, you might have heard about the buzz around an infinite damage build that's not only breaking the game but also causing server lag. Let's delve into how this build works and what it means for the game's future.

Infinite Damage Build Boss Powers Makes Servers Lag

The current season of Diablo 4 introduces new boss powers that, when cleverly combined, can create an infinite damage build capable of overwhelming the game's servers. A video by YouTuber Macrobioboi on May 9 showcased this potent build, which devastates rooms full of enemies using a specific combination of boss powers and a Legendary Aspect.

To harness this build, players must equip the Vampiric Curse Legendary Aspect, which inflicts a Vulnerable status effect on enemies, boosting damage and extending the effect until the enemies are defeated. The Flesh Reaper's Disruption boss power should also be utilized, as it stuns enemies but typically removes the Vulnerable effect. However, due to Vampiric Curse’s mechanics, this does not occur, leading to continuous stuns.

Completing the build, Varshan's Life Steal boss power amplifies damage each time a boss power is activated. The combination of these elements results in an overwhelming number of calculations, causing significant server lag. As demonstrated in wudijo’s YouTube video, the screen becomes crowded with numerous skills and abilities, leaving enemies perpetually stunned. Wudijo noted, "There are a lot of calculations going on, it's very understandable that this is a laggy build."

Blizzard Entertainment has yet to comment on this resource-intensive build, leaving it open for players to exploit while it lasts.

In other news, Diablo 4 has launched a collaboration with the iconic manga series, Berserk. This event introduces various cosmetics and items inspired by Berserk, though the pricing has raised some eyebrows among fans.

While players can earn Behelits through gameplay to unlock free cosmetics from the Berserk Reliquary, the premium offerings are where the collaboration truly shines. Free rewards include:

  • Hawks Destiny Back Trophy
  • Skull Knight’s Heraldry Mount Armor
  • Brand of Sacrifice Marking
  • Foretold Eclipse Headstone
  • Od of the Berserker Emblem

The premium sets, which can be purchased with Diablo 4's in-game currency, Platinum, include iconic Berserk armors and additional items:

  • The Berserker Armor, Barbarian - 2,800 Platinum
  • The Hawk of Light, Rogue - 2,800 Platinum
  • The Struggler, Rogue - 2,800 Platinum
  • The Skull Knight, Necromancer - 2,800 Platinum
  • The Schnoz, Pet Bundle - 2,800 Platinum
  • Warhorse of the Hawk, Mount and Mount Armor - 2,500 Platinum

Each premium skin costs around $28, which is roughly half the price of the base game. Acquiring the entire collection would set players back approximately $150 or a 15,000 Platinum bundle, which includes an additional 3,500 Platinum.

This pricing strategy isn't new for Diablo 4, as seen in its previous collaboration with World of Warcraft. It hints at a trend that may continue with future collaborations, potentially requiring significant financial investment from players to enjoy the full range of crossover content.

Despite the high-quality offerings, the steep prices are causing many fans to reconsider their purchases. Diablo IV is available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. Stay tuned for more updates and insights on the game by checking out our article below!
