Latest Deadlock update rebalances new heroes and nerf overall damage

Valve's commitment to Deadlock continues, even without a rigid update schedule. The recent patch, while not monumental, is a substantial update addressing balance concerns. A detailed changelog is accessible on the official forums.

Following the January 18th introduction of four new heroes, swift balance adjustments were implemented. Holliday's Crackshot ability now affects units, halving its cooldown in those instances. Calico's Ava ability gains the capacity to destroy obstacles during its activation.

Veteran heroes also received attention: Kelvin's health is boosted from 600 to 650, while Vendicta experiences nerfs to both bullet speed (reduced from 810 to 740) and movement speed (decreased from nine to eight). In total, eleven heroes, including the newcomers, have undergone targeted modifications.

Deadlock remains in closed beta, consistently boasting an online player base fluctuating between 7,000 and 20,000 players.
