Levelling Up: In DC: Dark Legion, every champion, no matter their rarity, can be leveled up to boost their base stats like Attack, Defense, and Health. To level up your champions, you can either take them into battles to earn experience or use EXP potions of different rarities. As your champions level up, not only do they become more powerful, but your overall account's Combat Power (CP) also increases, enhancing your team's strength across the board.

Upgrading Star Count: Each champion in DC: Dark Legion™ starts with a base star count, which determines their rarity. For instance, legendary champions begin at 5-stars. You can upgrade this star count by using shards from duplicate champions, though this process can be costly and relies on luck to obtain the necessary copies. While not ideal for new, free-to-play players due to the expense, upgrading star count is a powerful way to unlock new abilities and significantly boost hero stats.

Gearing Up: Beyond leveling, you can enhance your heroes' performance by equipping them with potent gear. Initially, you can acquire gear by clearing out hideouts. Once you've unlocked the crafting feature at your base, you can start creating your own gear. Gear comes in different rarities, each offering a main stat and varying numbers of sub-stats.
