DbD Junji Ito Collection Features Terrifying New Skins From Several of His Famous Works

Dead by Daylight's Terrifying Junji Ito Collection: Eight New Skins Unveiled!

The asymmetrical horror multiplayer game, Dead by Daylight (DbD), is thrilled to announce a chilling collaboration with renowned Japanese horror manga artist, Junji Ito. This partnership brings eight terrifying new character skins inspired by Ito's iconic works to the game, creating the "ultimate horror collaboration."

A Collection of Nightmares: Eight New Skins

For 40 years, Junji Ito has captivated audiences worldwide with his unique, macabre storytelling and surrealist style. Now, his chilling creations are brought to life in DbD. The collection features skins based on several of Ito's most famous works, including "Tomie," "Hanging Balloons," and "Rumors."

The Killer roster receiving new skins includes The Dredge, The Trickster, The Twins, The Spirit, and The Artist. The Spirit and The Artist will boast Legendary rarity skins, complete with unique audio and sound effects. Specifically, The Spirit will sport a Tomie skin, while The Artist will be transformed into Miss Fuchi from "Rumors." Survivors Yui Kimura, Yun-Jin Lee, and Kate Denson also receive new Ito-inspired outfits.

Junji Ito himself was involved in the creation process, expressing delight and a touch of awe at seeing his characters adapted for the game. In a video shared on Dead by Daylight's official X (formerly Twitter) account, he commented on the enhanced terror of his creations within the game's environment and even tried his hand at gameplay as The Artist, showcasing the Miss Fuchi skin.

The Junji Ito Collection will be available starting January 7th, 2025, on PC, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch. Prepare for a truly terrifying gaming experience!
