DanMachi Battle Chronicle Announces EOS, But Is Leaving Behind an Offline Version

*DanMachi Battle Chronicle*—officially known as *Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon? Battle Chronicle*—has officially announced its End of Service (EOS). Aiming Inc., the game’s developer and publisher, confirmed the shutdown in a recent update, marking the end of an era for fans of this 3D action RPG.

When Is the DanMachi Battle Chronicle EOS?

The final shutdown date is set for September 29, 2025. After this date, the game will be permanently removed from the Google Play Store, App Store, and PC (Windows version). Customer support across all platforms will also cease on the same day.

In-game purchases of Paid Selas will stop following maintenance on July 30, 2025. However, any remaining currency in your account can still be used until the service fully ends. Players seeking refunds for unused Paid Selas can submit requests between September 29 and December 28, 2025.

Additional changes include the closure of the official DanChro Discord server on July 31, 2025, along with the removal of the “Join the Community” in-game mission from the Option menu by late July. Tokens earned from the Training Camp event will expire once the final event concludes.

A limited offline version will be available exclusively for Japanese players on Android and iOS. This version will offer only basic functionality, but progress can be transferred before the global shutdown.

One Final Celebration: The 2nd Anniversary Event

Launched in August 2023 after its initial announcement in July of that year, *DanMachi Battle Chronicle* will close just before its second anniversary. To commemorate this milestone, a special event begins on July 30, 2025.

This final event features an original story crafted exclusively for the occasion—though it won’t include quests or competitive rankings. As part of the celebration, players will receive a limited-edition Scene Card, available only during this event. A promotional video highlighting the event will premiere on July 21, 2025.

For context, another title in the franchise—DanMachi Memoria Freese—ran successfully for seven years before its shutdown in February 2024. With Battle Chronicle ending after just two years, it reflects the evolving lifecycle of gacha-based mobile RPGs.
