Unlocking Master Schindel's Toys in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2

This guide helps you complete the challenging "Master Schindel's Toys" side quest in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2. This quest becomes available during the main story mission, "Into the Underworld."

The quest begins by finding Goatskin, an informant. Talking to the Bathhouse Madam and then Adam in the bathhouse will lead you to Goatskin. He's elusive, so follow Udo, a bathhouse patron who leaves in the evening. Goatskin will attempt to rob Udo in an alley, providing an opportunity to confront him.

Interrogating Goatskin might yield a map ("Map of Kuttenberg Underground"). If not, bribe him. The map indicates the location of the stolen items – a corpse at the Kuttenberg gallows (southeastern city).

Navigating the Kuttenberg Underground

The quickest route to the stolen items is through a northern entrance to the underground area. Descend the ladder into the dark underground. A consistent strategy is to keep turning left at every junction. Eventually, you'll find a barrel at a dead end containing the book and astrolabe. Remember your torch!

Completing the Quest

Return to Master Schindel (usually northeast of the city during the day) with the recovered items. He'll reward you for your efforts and may even share some astronomical knowledge.

This relatively short quest offers valuable reputation points and rewards.
