Clash of Clans to Remove Troop Training Times in Major Update

Author:Kristen Update:Apr 25,2025

Clash of Clans, an iconic mobile gaming experience, is set to undergo a significant transformation that many fans have been eagerly anticipating. The game is poised to completely eliminate troop training times, allowing players to deploy their armies almost instantly and dive into battles more swiftly than ever before. This major change promises to refresh the gameplay experience, making it more dynamic and engaging.

While this update is exciting, players should be mindful of their Training Potions and Treats. These items will soon be removed from in-app purchases and chest rewards. You can still acquire them through the Trader and Gold Pass for now, but it's crucial to use them before the end of the month, as they will be converted to Gems.

To complement this overhaul, Supercell is introducing a new feature called "Match Anytime." This mechanic allows you to attack a snapshot of another player's base when no real opponents are available. You'll still earn rewards, and importantly, players whose bases are used in these matches won't lose anything if defeated. This system, already in use for Clan Wars and Legend League attacks, will now be a standard feature.

Additionally, keep an eye out for other changes, such as Army Donations now requiring Elixirs or Dark Elixirs. For a comprehensive overview of these updates and more, visit the Supercell blog.
