Firaxis Games, the developers behind Civ VII, have shared a roadmap outlining four significant content releases planned for March. These updates fall into three categories: Content Collections (paid DLC), Free Updates, and Events & Challenges. Here's a glimpse of what March holds:

Looking beyond March, Firaxis has teased even more content on the horizon, including two additional leaders, four new civilizations, and four world wonders, along with fresh events and challenges. While release dates remain unannounced for this wave of content, players can also anticipate further updates in October 2025 and beyond.

The developers also acknowledged several planned features that didn't make the initial launch. While release dates are not yet available, these updates are actively in development:

• Adding team support to multiplayer games.
• Increasing the maximum number of players in multiplayer to eight.
• Allowing players to select starting and ending eras.
• Introducing a greater variety of map types.
• Implementing hotseat multiplayer functionality.
