Sony Pictures has set the stage for a thrilling cinematic experience with the announcement of Chainsaw Man – The Movie: Reze Arc, slated to hit US theaters on October 29, 2025. This exciting news was shared during Sony's CinemaCon presentation, where they disclosed acquiring worldwide theatrical rights, excluding Japan, for this eagerly awaited anime film. Fans outside of Japan can mark their calendars for September 24, 2025, as over 80 countries will witness the film's release on that date, while Toho will handle its premiere in Japan on September 19, 2025.

The announcement of the Chainsaw Man movie came in December 2023, following the successful 2022 anime series produced by MAPPA. The story continues with protagonist Denji, who, after striking a deal with the Chainsaw Devil dog Pochita, gains a new lease on life and the ability to transform parts of his body into chainsaws. This film will delve deeper into his journey as more than just a Chainsaw Man.

Chainsaw Man – The Movie: Reze Arc introduces a pivotal character from the manga, Reze, and is helmed by director Tatsuya Yoshihara with Hiroshi Seko penning the script. The entire original voice cast is set to return, ensuring fans hear the familiar voices of their favorite characters once again.
