"Carrion: Reverse Horror Game Launches on Mobile Soon!"

Devolver Digital's impressive roster of Android games just keeps getting better. From GRIS to Reigns: Her Majesty, Downwell, and Reigns: Game of Thrones, the lineup is already stellar. And now, fans have another thrilling title to look forward to: Carrion for mobile, a 'reverse-horror' game that's set to join the fray soon.

Originally released for PC, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox One in July 2020, Carrion is a unique twist on the horror genre. Developed by Phobia Game Studio and published by Devolver Digital, this game is slated to hit mobile devices on October 31st.

What’s the Concept of Carrion Mobile?

In Carrion, you embody a nightmarish creature, becoming the horror itself. This reverse-horror game puts you in control of a mysterious red blob that slithers, claws, and chomps its way through any obstacle. As The Monster, you’re trapped in a high-security research facility owned by Relith Science. Scientists have manipulated your DNA to keep you contained, but you’ve broken free, evolved, and are now on a rampage to escape.

Your mission is to consume every scientist, security guard, and unlucky individual who crosses your path. Navigate through vents, break down doors, and unleash your tentacles to hunt and spread chaos. Carrion on mobile mirrors its PC counterpart, allowing you to unlock upgrades that enable you to burst through barricades and grow in size as you progress through the facility.

Will You Pre-Register for the Game?

If you're a fan of Metroidvania-style games, Carrion is sure to captivate you with its blend of exploration and progression. The game's pixel art style adds a unique charm to the gore-filled gameplay. On mobile, you can try Carrion for free, and if you enjoy it, unlock the full game and its DLC with a single in-app purchase. Pre-register now on the Google Play Store or grab it directly on October 31st when it launches.
