Bullseye, the latest addition to Marvel Snap, has undergone several iterations since its initial datamining. Now available during the Dark Avengers season, this 3-cost, 3-power card boasts a unique ability: "Activate: Discard all cards that cost 1 or less from your hand. Afflict that many different enemy cards with -2 Power."

Is Bullseye Worth Spotlight Cache Keys or Collector’s Tokens?
Bullseye's ability shines when played before turn 6. Activating him discards all 0- and 1-cost cards from your hand (including those discounted by effects like Swarm). For each discarded card, he afflicts a different enemy card with -2 Power. Note that he can't repeatedly target the same card. This makes him a potent board-wide debuffer, particularly effective in multi-lane scenarios. His synergy with cards like X-23 and Hawkeye (Kate Bishop) offers exciting possibilities, though these combinations haven't yet received widespread attention. However, remember he's ineffective on the final turn.
Bullseye's optimal use appears to be within existing discard archetypes rather than as the centerpiece of a new strategy. A straightforward approach integrates him into a standard discard deck:
This deck utilizes Series 5 cards (Scorn, Hawkeye (Kate Bishop), Proxima Midnight). While Scorn and Proxima Midnight are essential, Hawkeye (Kate Bishop) could be substituted with a card like Gambit. The strategy involves using Bullseye to debuff the opponent's board with Scorn, X-23, Blade, Hawkeye (Kate Bishop)'s arrows, and discounted Swarms, setting up Dracula and Apocalypse for a powerful finish.
Alternatively, a less consistent but viable option incorporates Hela Carrier and Victoria Hand. However, the above "classic" discard deck is recommended for its greater reliability.
A more ambitious approach attempts to integrate Bullseye into the Hazmat/Ajax meta-deck, despite its recent nerfs:
This deck features several Series 5 cards (Silver Sable, Hydra Bob, Hawkeye (Kate Bishop), US Agent, Rocket Raccoon and Groot, Anti-Venom, Ajax). Hydra Bob could potentially be replaced, but the other Series 5 cards are generally considered essential. Bullseye complements Hazmat by providing additional debuff potential, enhancing the effectiveness of Ajax. While its viability compared to Red Guardian-based decks remains to be seen, it offers a unique and potentially powerful Bullseye strategy.
For players who aren't fans of discard or affliction decks, Bullseye may not be a worthwhile investment. His niche utility and potential redundancy with cards like Moonstone and the upcoming Aries suggest that prioritizing other cards might be a more strategic use of resources.
