Author:Kristen Update:Mar 18,2025

In Ivy Road and Annapurna Interactive's Wanderstop, players manage a charming tea shop in a magical forest as Alta, a weary warrior finding solace in rest and recovery. The shop attracts diverse customers with unique requests, including the unexpected—coffee. Here's how to unlock and brew this non-standard beverage.

During *Wanderstop*'s fourth cycle, a peculiar group arrives: Jerry, Larry, and Terry—three identically dressed businessmen needing coffee for their upcoming presentation. They refuse tea, stubbornly waiting until coffee becomes available. Boro, the shop owner, reveals coffee has never grown in this forest, seemingly presenting an insurmountable obstacle for Alta. However, the arrival of Zenith, an interdimensional being fascinated by the businessmen, changes everything. Zenith's experience with "hot water brewed ingredients" is limited to coffee, making tea a novel discovery.

Unlocking Coffee Beans in Wanderstop

Offer Zenith a cup of tea infused with a valuable item—a book, trinket, plant, or even a photograph. After tasting, Zenith inquires about coffee, prompting Alta to mention "coffee beans." Zenith then uses the Infinite Path to introduce coffee beans to the forest, adding instructions to Alta's Field Guide.

Harvesting and Brewing Coffee in Wanderstop

Coffee beans now grow wild in the clearing, respawning randomly. Harvest them like other ingredients. Clean them in the dishwasher before brewing. Simply add a bean (or more, depending on the order) to the tea maker, add water (heating optional), and brew. Serve to customers, Boro, or yourself.

Adding coffee not only satisfies the businessmen but also delights Zenith and provides another option for customers, even pleasing Boro, despite his lukewarm enthusiasm.

Wanderstop is available for PlayStation, Xbox, and PC via Steam.
