Uncover a Hidden Romance in Baldur's Gate 3: Naoise Nallinto

While many know Baldur's Gate 3's prominent romance options, a lesser-known encounter awaits at Sharess' Caress: Naoise Nallinto. This brief romance is easily missed, occurring during a pivotal game moment. This guide details how to find and romance Naoise.

Locating Naoise Nallinto

  1. Reach Act III: Progress to the early stages of Act III, passing through Wyrm's Crossing on your way to Baldur's Gate. You'll encounter Raphael at Sharess' Caress, a brothel east of the bridge leading into Baldur's Gate. Alternatively, use the South Span of Wyrm's Crossing fast travel point.

  2. Find the Nymph's Grotto: On the second floor, locate a door with a green light and ivy. It's locked, requiring a lockpicking skill check of 10 or higher.

Romancing Naoise Nallinto

  1. Interact with Naoise: Inside, Naoise is with Jara, a Flaming Heart soldier. Jara will be displeased by your presence. Choose dialogue options carefully; selecting "Whoever you think I am, you're mistaken" initiates a confrontation.

  2. Defeat Jara: Jara transforms into a Mindflayer. Defeat her to proceed.

  3. Engage Naoise: Naoise expresses interest in Mindflayers. Avoid judgmental responses. Choosing "Your client is dead. I thought you'd be more upset" works well. A successful Insight check reveals her romantic interest.

  1. The Romantic Encounter: Select dialogue options leading to intimacy. For example, "What did you have in mind?" followed by "Close your eyes and listen" works effectively.

  2. Choosing Your Fate: Naoise asks, "What you will be?" Options include Revered, Contented, Powerful, Rich, or ending the encounter. Choosing "Contented" leads to a unique scene.

Post-Encounter: This romance is singular; Naoise won't be interested in further encounters. Shadowheart grants the "Carnal Rituals of Sharess" inspiration point. The "Rapture" boon provides a passive 1d6 bonus to most ability checks. Note that this encounter doesn't seem to affect existing relationships with other characters.
