Baldur's Gate 3 mod has been updated. It added a “superboss” of level 27 and a sheep-killer

Trials of Tav - Reloaded, a substantial update by modder Celerev, transforms the Trials of Tav mod by adding a challenging roguelike mode. This update significantly increases the difficulty of the adventures.

This enhanced version boasts new enemies, refined game balance, and a formidable level 27 superboss designed to challenge even veteran players. Conquering this boss is considered a true testament to skill and marks completion of the roguelike run.

The expansion goes beyond a single boss; over 60 enemies from the original game, including rare foes such as Nine-Fingers Keene and Killer Sheep, have been integrated. Gameplay mechanics have also been adjusted, improving trade balance and modifying the difficulty scaling to prevent new enemy abilities from becoming insurmountable obstacles.

Mod creator Celerev acknowledges the invaluable contributions of the original Trials of Tav author, Hippo0o, highlighting the original mod's foundation for this expansive new game mode. For players preferring the original experience, the classic Trials of Tav remains available.

Players seeking a rigorous challenge, or those patiently awaiting Patch 8 with its promised crossplay and other enhancements, will find Trials of Tav - Reloaded a worthy endeavor.
