Azur Lane’s A Note Through the Firmament event adds six new shipgirls, including two ultra rares

Six new shipgirls join Azur Lane’s limited-time event
Ultra Rare units include William D. Porter and Lexington II
The event unfolds in two phases through January 7th, 2026

It seems Azur Lane won’t be winding down the year quietly. Following the Date A Live collaboration, the game leaps into another major event: A Note Through the Firmament. Expect the familiar perks—new shipgirls, exclusive skins, and long-term progression rewards designed to keep you engaged well into January.

Running until January 7th, 2026, the event is divided into two distinct phases, rewarding consistent play over frantic bursts. By logging in regularly during the first phase, you’ll unlock Hammann II’s new skin, Hammann’s Scrumptious Spells, without spending a single cube.

The second phase introduces more player choice, with Winter Wishing Well Cards allowing you to select one of seven SR shipgirls to add to your fleet at the start of the new year. But the real highlight is the roster expansion: six new shipgirls are joining, including two Ultra Rare units. William D. Porter (UR) and Cleveland META (SR) can be earned by accumulating event points through stage clears, while Clarence K. Bronson becomes available as an Elite reward for reaching higher milestones.

If ship construction is your focus, the Limited Build pool offers compelling incentives. Lexington II leads as the Ultra Rare rate-up, supported by Super Rare Cowpens and Elite Pasadena, giving fleet builders strong reasons to invest cubes with purpose rather than haste.

Cosmetic enthusiasts also have plenty to look forward to. Seventeen new skins are launching throughout the event, featuring L2D options such as Lexington II’s The Fluffiest of Maids and Yorktown II’s dual-form An Evening’s Companionship. A new furniture set is also included to refresh your dorm if it’s feeling a little worn.
